Morning Calm

I’ve always loved this place. It was actually one of the reasons why I like Singapore so much. I was in love with this plaace ever since I first saw it three years ago. And I still love this place even now.

Even though I’ve seen this place many times now, I just fall in love over and over again. Its unchanging beauty is something I couldn’t ignore.

The yellow leaves of the Rain Trees surrounding the old English-styled bandstand makes it looked like something out of a picture book. Perhaps it was because I like fairytale-like settings that I fell in love with this place? That maybe so but one could not deny the serenity felt just by looking in this scenery.

I love it when a sudden gust of wind blows away the yellow leaves of the surrounding trees. They were like dancing in the wind before finally lying down in the soft green grass covering the ground. It was the best thing to see in the morning when butterflies and bees are flying around and the light of the sunrise gives it a soft and gentle feel.
